The ceramist Karsten Nielsen founded his workshop on July 1st, 1980 in the port city of Frederikshavn and still works there today. This handmade vase is made of beige white shards and glazed in different shades of blue, this color combination gives the vase an unmistakable maritime charm. Due to the strong colors of this vase, it also looks particularly good on mid century furniture
