The back plate has worn to a dull gray/blue color, with some areas appearing to have received a half-hearted attempt at polishing. A previous owner's name is engraved on the bright aluminum foot, and there are faint (but smooth) file marks on either end. 3 3/4" diameter with a spool width of 1 3/16".
